There are over a half dozen networks in the US now running anime, but noone (as far as I know) has made a simple all purpose place where they can find out what, when and where an anime is running, until now. Introducing Toon Zone's Anime TV Guide, a catchall grid listing pretty much everything anime on US TV that isn't dealt with by another board on TZ.

Well, atleast that's the hope. I've got a bunch of side notes on this you all might want to read before using the grid, and feel free to send me any verifible extended schedule data on US Broadcast anime so I can put it into this grid.

Side Note on Fox/FoxBox: It's hard to get accurate schedules for the block in advance, and in some markets it only airs on a different channel, but at different time, so always check your local grids as well as this for FoxBox anime. Updates may be made during the course of the month.

Side Note on MTV2: Like FoxBox, it's hard to get much in the way of advance schedules, so again, updates may be made during the course of the month.

Side Note on All Times Eastern: The following networks time shift the feeds for the Pacific Time Zone so they air at the times listed here, though if you're on Dish, they might not:

ABC Family
Cartoon Network
Fox/FoxBox
ShoNext
MTV2 (in some markets, check your local listings)

If it's not listed as time shifting, for each time zone over, it's an probably hour earlier. What runs at 10:00pm on East Coast then runs at 7:00pm on the West Coast. I'm sure most of you already knew that, but I prefer to error on the side of caution.

Side Note On InDemand: Considering the issues with not only with availability, but variation on what a given cable system is carrying on a given InDemand channel, I've decided not to tackle it for now.

Blast, my effort was basically for naught. Only thing I've got in extra is the G4Tech Stuff. And they've got all the ABC Family stuff inthere I couldn't find as well.

I'm not sure I'd say the effort is for naught. A lot of people may not know of that other site or want to take the time to go there. Heck, a good chunk of the info from my schedule thread on the Toonami forum can be found at schedule.cartoonnetwork.com , but many people seem to read the thread on the Toonami forum anyway.

Stuff like SpeedChannel, International Channel and MTV2 would probably be on an extended basic analog cable package (probably something like 40-50 bucks month.) However, pretty much every thing else is more likely to be on Digital Cable/Dish, and ShoNext, MOVIEplex and Action are premium Digital Cable/Dish.

I have expanded basic analog cable, but unfortunately I don't get any of the channels, or G4TechTV. I think it is just the somewhat lousy cable around here though.

I know you mentioned no indemand stuff, but I've found that the indemand movies are fairly consistant between people (atleast in the way of recent additions) and that Tokyo Godfathers has been available for a while.

Yep, whether something is new is very helpful.
KTLA's KidsWB online schedule used to do that back during Pokemon's heyday.

Well, there is one aspect that Anime on TV really doesn't cover--Canada. While they provide listings for Canadian networks in theory, in practice they haven't been able to find a reliable source for listings. Maybe you could try to tackle that.

Funny thing, while MTV2 isn't available in my area except on the digital tier, I accidentally discovered recently that a low-powered TV station carries the network over the air.

You have my sympathy. I would love to see "Vandread", but unfortunately only one set in the house has digital, and it is impossible to videotape the digital channels. The only anime I've really seen on Encore is when they showed "Blue Seed" at 11 p.m. on WAM!

You can always catch G4TechTV's AU on its repeat four hours later. However, unfortunately they don't show AU in the 1 a.m. PDT/4 a.m. EDT slot during weekends. Since they dropped the special weekend showings of AU in favor of just continuing the episodes seven days-a-week, that makes absolutely no sense (it means somebody who can catch AU only in the later hour will be missing two episodes of both of whatever shows are running every weekend).

Well I've gotta say it... VANDREAD ROCKS!!!

It's almost a shame it wont air on Toonami. I'm love'n it and the animation is quite nice to look at. I like the goofy red head (I'm a sucker for red heads). I hope she starts calling Hibiki something other than Mr. Alien... it's getting annoying.

It's almost a shame it wont air on Toonami. I'm love'n it and the animation is quite nice to look at. I like the goofy red head (I'm a sucker for red heads). I hope she starts calling Hibiki something other than Mr. Alien... it's getting annoying.

Cool mecha, for sure. I can't wait till next week's episodes.I saw the first few episodes in fan showings sometime back, and it seemed a promising show (similar to and as good as "Geneshaft", but quite a bit funnier). I'm rather peeved I'm not going to get a chance to see the end of the show, because Action is showing those episodes at an hour I have no chance of watching them.

Though I'm not absolutely sure it won't air on Toonami or elsewhere. Starz Encore is a premium rather than a basic cable channel, so I don't think it's been established to anyone's satisfaction whether they have exclusive rights to their anime or not.
