Apparently there is a new series of statues dipicting Ultraman as everyday run of the mill important business man. I'm wondering if they had HBAAL serve as a source of inspiration because if you equate Ultraman to HBAAL the same character archtypes are used in the same positions...sorta...
Former enemies as co-workers...YES
Boss/All Powerul/Rich Guy in original series brought back as Boss in Business....YES
Hero has donned two piece navy blue suit....YES

How would Ultra Q fit in?
BTW- Anyone interested in seeing the new "Ultra-Taxman" series of statues, read this months NewType.

I saw the coin figures for the show yesterday. Friggin hilarious. Nearly bought it, but I'm running out of space for my coin figures and gachapon as it stands.

Is there any real chance of this formula working again? Sure, Harvey's great, but . . . .Ultraman? Could lightning strike twice? I mean, Ultraman doesn't have someone like Avenger to back him up.
On a side note: I would give lots of things to see the Birdman short "Coffee Break" one more time. . .
I'm pretty sure "Ultra-Salaryman" predates HBAAL. HBAAL hasn't been on long enough yet to influence anyone. Ultraman's a bloody institution over there.
The closest you'd get is that weird show where Ultraman Powered teaches Japanese kids English with Pigmon by his side.
God, what a disturbingly surreal show that was.

I think TDA has "Coffee Break" up.

LOL. This is for real? This I must see.
Now there would be a crossover worth making.
