I like Bebop. It's one of my favorite animes. I was just thinking that I could never get tired of watching an episode of Bbeop. :)

It's one of the best but they're killing it/people's tolerance by replaying it over and over again.

To keep things fresh for me, I skip every other run.

Just because it's on the air doesn't mean you have to watch it...

I wish they would take Bebop off and use the slot for something else.

As I'm watching it while I type this I'd have to say yes. I don't make a point to catch it anymore though. But it's good when I can't sleep and nothing else is on.

Ah yes I love Cowboy Bebop, but Like others have stated Adult swim has been running it incessantly here.. after all I like the 26 episodes, but I don't mind it.. after all the only two I really love to watch are episodes 25 and26..(The last two) .. after all you really don't truly understand what Faye and Spike were (Other then bounty hunters), until you see these last two episodes.. then you know what was going to happen next..(It's really classic here...Boy Sees Girl Boy Falls in Love with girl, Boy loses girl, other girl seeing boy lose girl moves in for the kill to fall in love with boy. )

You get the idea..

but yeah they really need to be laying off the Bebop for a while.. and put on more Outlaw Star...instead...:D After all we need more cat girls Like Aisha Clan Clan! (ME-ow... baby!)

I only watch it every now and then, but it's still a great show, regardless of how many times it's been run. Sort of like Family Guy, Futurama, ATHF, and Trigun... I don't watch religiously, since they're nothing new, but when I do, it's worth it.

Tonight's episode, Mushroom Samba, kicks much ass.

After all this talk about how much WS doesn't like CB, there has always been one they have liked quite a bit.

If you only wanted one answer why did you even ask a question.

I also agree with him, Bebop is great and all, but it needs to go.

Agreed--we would have a better chance of waiting for the tapes to burn out, though.

I expect bebop gone, seriously, in like...late 2005/early 2006. I don't doubt they're gonna want Bebop and Champloo next to each other.

I dont usually watch Bebop, but I usually catch it when its a good eppy. I watched last night's because of it being Mushroom Samba. That has to be one of my favorite eppys of the season. And when are they going to show the full ending again!!!!!!!

Bebop is basically the anime version of Family Guy as far as Adult Swim goes. It is an incredible show, both are probably some of the best shows on the block. I hate that Family Guy hasn't been replaced by Home Movies, or Bebop with Lupin, however I understand why they haven't. I do however wish that Bebop was moved to 1:30, and if the fanboys are that big of fans to complain that it's been replaced by Trigun or Lupin then they're big enough fans to stay up an extra half hour.

Well, I'm not especially crazy for the show(I'm more of a Lupin kind of guy), but hey, it's popular among many. I do think it's been run to death though since it came on AS. I think it needs to be off for a while, and then they can re air it again in a couple of months. They could add more animes, and put something else in its 1:30 time slot, but with the rumors that WS wants to make AS all comedy by next year kind of affects that. I think they just need to run it in moderation that's all, to keep it fresh, which is kind of hard now, unless you get new viewers into it.

Bebop blew me away the first time I saw it, and I watched it religiously until I had seen them all, and I can still watch any episode again... but $70 worth of used DVDs later I have the whole thing uncut, so I really have no desire to catch the reruns on AS anymore.

Still, it deserves all the praise it gets, and if new people are still being introduced to the show, all the better. But I think any longtime Bebop fans hardcore enough to complain if it gets dropped from AS probably have them all on disc or whatever anyway.

This is a very Bebop suporting comunity so you don't have to worry about that.

Just for a different opinion I decided to add my thoughts on CB. When Bebop first came on I was excited to see it since it was new and looked to be of a higher class than the shows on Toonami. However, once it's first run was over, I only watched it on the days the episodes that were skipped the first time were on so I could get the whole series on tape. Once that was done I looked back at the series as a whole and realized it wasn't really anything special. Sure, it looked pretty, but there was hardly any main plot, it was just a bunch of random stories. I prefer shows that have some glue to hold the episodes together. I watched it through fully again a couple months ago just to see if my impression of it still held, and it did. I could barely stay awake during several of the episodes. It's obvious many people like the show, but I'm not one of them. In any case, there's a different viewpoint for you.

Bebop is old. I'd rather see the slot used for something else. Even Inu Yasha, if it'd give Case Closed a better chance at satisfying the Inu heads.

And stop posting the same thread everywhere. It's stupid.

Not really.

CN killed it, insanely. I'm glad they didn't get the movie, or I'd end up being sick of it too.

It's a great show, but the CN striped mined it for all it's worth. (Kinda like Who wants to be a millionare)

Cowboy Bebop is a good thing. But too much of any good thing is a bad thing.

Still, CB has its strong partisans. Recall the last time AS took it out of their rotation, how much griping and moaning they endured. The CB fans weren't as vehement as the IY fans, but they were loud enough. I'd like to see AS take it off for a while and run something that we haven't seen recently. (^_*)

At the very least, restrict Cowboy Bebop to Saturdays. It really doesn't need to be run over and over and over so quickly.

I agree with everyone else it's a great show but seriously how many runs has the show had now? I think take it off for awhile and put something else in its place would be alot better. I only catch a episodes here or there since I recorded the episodes last summer sometime.

I'm also tiring of Bebop. I never thought I would, but I guess rerunning a show infinitely will do that. I don't care if I miss an episode now. There are episodes I still like to watch, but most of those are episodes I didn't see on the first run.

it's a good show but I think it needs a bit of extended leave, take it out of the rotation for a bit but give it a big send-off by running "Knockin' on Heaven's door" as a movie special

Bebop has been on the top of my favorite anime list since I first saw it in 2000.

BUT MAKE IT STOP ALREADY!!! This kind of special treatment is unfair to the shows AS hasn't run in a long time. Bebop is stupendous and magnificent; The kind of majesty that should be used SPARINGLY, not constantly. Another 26 eps of Lupin would be nice...

I have seen Cowboy Bebop so many times and I like it,but they could stop showing the reruns. I am get tired  of see all the reruns. They can put some other show in that place. They do the same thing will Trigun.

I enjoy Cowboy Bebop, though I haven't watched an episode on Adult Swim in a long time(who cares to watch an edited version when you own the uncut version) I have stated this before that Cowboy Bebop has become to Adult Swim as what Dragon Ball Z was to Toonami, overplayed without any breaks.

It is high time Adult Swim stopped airing Cowboy Bebop over and over again. It would be wiser to invest that time into getting the new episodes of Lupin III or something else.

Wow, two pages of thread, and nearly all the posts seem to agree totally on the subject.

...I must be lost. Could someone point me to Toon Zone?

Depends on the episode. The show had five magnificent episodes which are some of the best animation.. the other twenty-one were mediocre ones ruin the series.

If this show had stuck to the plot it could have been one of my favorites.

I'm not going to spend $ on DVDs, so I guess I don't know what I'm missing. After we saw the series 2 or 3 times in a row, that was enough for a while, but it's good that it is still on for more people to discover.

Spike is my favorite character ever -- the voice acting and everything about him was perfect. (I also love Spike from Buffy -- btw does your handle refer to Whedon's cancelled FOX series?). It makes me sad that he had to die. I also liked Faye.

Hubby liked the little girl and the dog. What was up with the data dog thing anyway? The dog's abilities were used in one episode in an offhand way, and that was it.

I haven't seen it in a while so I can't quote word for word, but if you notice in the intro how it mentions four different beats or whatever they say, it is trying to tell you that the show is structured like jazz improv with the four main characters each taking their turns in the spotlight. If you don't understand jazz, you may think it is "random," but it isn't. It's brilliant.

Some people don't like noodling jazz notes, but there's a difference between its being a matter of taste and your not getting the concept. No offense intended; I respect your right to your opinion.

In nearly every anime series that centers around a small group of people, each person is given his or her own episode to be focused on, it doesn't make it brilliant. Secondly, if I have to understand jazz to enjoy Bebop, I guess I'll just pass on both with no regrets.

I never liked cowboy bebop in the first place. I just don't like anime. They should put an hour of space ghost on, or create a new show with old animation and hilarious situations. Just a thought.
