Why is Meatwads voice all of a sudden deeper? I have definetly noticed a difference between Meatwad now and Meatwad of season 1.
Is it just me or has he gotten mean or something along with his new deeper voice?
And Why is Meatwads voice all of a sudden deeper?

Ah, yes, this question has come up before. As I recall, after "The Cloning" they stopped speeding up, and thus raising the pitch, of Meatwad's voice.

Stopped speeding up what? Sorry if I sound dumb but I must have missed something in between. Also sorry that this has come up. I've been gone for a while.

I think Meatwad is just going through puberty.

maybe he got back with his wife and became a man again  :)
I didn't notice the change but he is still cute looking and sounding to me :) http://members.aol.com/kimminakochan/chicken.gif

lol.. :D Maybe.
Hmm, I guess it would've made sense if they did it around the episode with the enlarging/shrink gun, because it seemed like they made Meatwad a bit bigger when enlarging him. However, I never really noticed the change, if there was one.

Well I think the production cast decided to think Meatwad needed a deeper voice because before that time, it is likly a bit annoying when it was in a high voice, but they were still getting used to it during season 1 so that probbly acts why many of the voices sounded diffrent.

I remember Matt Wilson saying that After "The Cloning" they stopped speeding up his voice by 7% so now Dave Willis is doing the Meatwad voice without any speed.
PHIL: Heh heh heh, Drug joke.
Personally, I don't know if it sounds better or worse. But it dosen't sound really that different. I think only real ATHF fans would be able to tell the difference.

He's certaintly a lot more sassier and sarcastic then he was in the early seasons. I was watching ATHF all this week, and noticed the change when they went to the early episodes when Meatwad was very naivete and innocent. He probably is smarter then in the early seasons, but raised intellegence does not mean a voice change. Although maybe since Meatwad is more "mature" now the ATHF crew decided not to have his voice raised and just have Dave do it without any pitch enhancements.

Movies shot on film in North America, but shown in European theaters or on European television run 4% faster than normal. That's because european movie projectors show 25 frames in one second while american system is standardized at 24 frames per second. European movies shown in American cinemas run 4% slower as well.
Most people don't notice the difference, but musicians most certainly do, especially if they are trying to play along with the recording.

really reminds me a bit of slimer's voice..
and btw, i still think that one where meatwad was cruel to shake as he got 'plastic surgery'.. was the bomb.

Oh yeah I know that, I just don't see a change in his voice I only see a change in his intelligence, that's all. He probably grew a brain or something because in the first season, his brain was a toy squeaky brain with a bell on it. LOL:anime: :D

Barney Rubble went through the same thing between seasons one and two of "The Flintstones". :D
