I'm working on a project right now where each WB show will get it's own page here at Toon Zone, which will contain some (hopefully) useful information. Craig is helping out with many of the pages, but one show neither of us can do much with is Taz-Mania. Are there any Taz-Maniacs out there who know enough about the show (its history, the premise, the characters, etc.) that would be willing to help out?

Well, I happen to have a paper full of facts re. that show, but I got almost all of it from the web so y'all probably could too. The voice credits should be easy to come by, but who directed & wrote each ep (with one or two exceptions, & I mean that literally --- one or two) would take some doing. I really lucked out on that one; I followed a link that was on Dave Mackey's site @ the time. It wasn't there last time I looked, but it might be back; you could ask him. Iirc it was to some Taz-Mania site in Europe. And the grid showing where everyone's pic was @ that spot in the theme where they say "Have we left anyone out? *gasp* " came directly from watching the show, taping the show (but I didn't save it; drat the luck), then freeze-framing that scene until I could i.d. everyone. And I can sing the entire theme. As for original airdates, I wish, I really do. I've been looking for more T-M stuff for some time. Maybe if you were able to contact Art Vitello; it was his baby. Well, just a thot. If you're interested...

"Taz-Mania" aired on Fox in the early 1990's, with the premise of a (teenaged?) Taz living in Tasmania with what was supposed to be his family (a Bing Crosby/Bill Cosby-esque dad, a mother, a younger sister, and a younger brother), with him as the sole "wild/incoherent" one in the otherwise relatively "normal acting" bunch. Other supporting characters appeared on the show (including a few Looney Tunes cameos; one ep had Marvin the Martian). Stayed on the air long enough to be rerun on weekdays IIRC, though it didn't achieve the fame/success of TTA (or A! when that came along)...

...if you want I could send you what I have. Just say the word. Btw all this is my 100th post on these boards; when we switched I'd just passed 400, tho I don't recall by how much.

I believe I volunteered to be the one to cover Tazmania for you originally.
I'll see if I can locate the notebook that had my reviews and other details on the show to give you something to start with. I still don't have a VCR, so I couldn't help beyond that right now without being able to watch any of my Tazmania tapes.
