Return to New York: Part Two
The turtles continue their trek through the Foot's HQ dodging trap after trap and dealing with things they'd never would have dreamed. The Shredder clones were a handful but wait till they see what's up stairs...

Return to New York: Part Three
The turtles and Shredder are locked in combat when none other than Baxter Stockman shows up in a shiney new robotic body. Can the turtles deal with both Shredder and Stockman?
Authors Note: The ending is quite a suprise... you'd be even more suprised to know that THIS aired on Saturday mornings... You're in for a treat turtle fans.

Wednesday, 5/19/04
Lone Raph and Cub

Raphael comes upon a young punk whose being chased by the mob. Intially they get along about as well as Casey and Raph did at first but they come to a mutal understanding. Now it's up to the kid and Raphael (who is at the moment blind as a bat) to take down the mob and rescue the kids mother.

Search for Splinter: Part One

Splinter is missing and signs are pointing towards the TCRI organization. The turtles manage to break into the high security facility and discover there is more more to the organization than meets the eye.
Authors Note: No these guys aren't Krang's brain people they were in the original comics... but Krang was a homage to them. You'll get to see the "Krang" of this series in "Secret Origins"

Friday, 5/21/04
Search for Splinter: Part Two

The turtles attempt to save Splinter from the TCRI organization (or at least what they really are), and by doing so trigger a course of events that will be their wildest adventure ever (well yet anyway).
Authors Note: Lucky for you guys the next episode comes the following week and you don't have to wait to see it since this one has a nasty cliff hanger.

NOTES

This show is vastly different from the old cartoons, so if you are seeing it for the first time and have only seen the old show then you may not like what you see, but give it some time… you will not be disappointed
This week includes the creme of the crop for this season and also has the most plot out of the season. DON'T miss them... You'll be sorry you did.
This is the last week of season 1 episodes, next week will be the first five episodes of season 2 and will also be the last week of CN premieres for an unknown amount of time.
Week 5 of the Turtles on CN 5 days a week. You know I'm love'n it.

Can I get a cowabunga?

Sorry the formatting is awful... I tried to fix it 5 times, but no dice. What up with this forum anyway?

If the battle with the elemental ninjas doesn't prove that Splinter owns, I don't know what does.

I hate those Elemental Ninjas just because they were so damn annoying in the game. Thank you, unlimited fire shurikens for Mikey!

I actually missed Monday's episode when it ran on FoxBox, so this is the first time I've seen it. I liked how Mikey & Raph went through the traps on the one floor.

You're Damn Right About that. I had heard about Shredder's defeat in the comics (how Leonardo decapitated him) and thought "Oh, that will never show in Foxbox. Sure, TMNT may not turn punches to shoves or anything like that, but still, decapation. Even Toonami has problems with that. And that's Saturday Toonami". But they showed it. Sure, you may not have seen a head, but you knew he was human (in a way), you knew he was in there, and he may have still been around (because the Shredder is forever... or something... I haven't seen any other episodes) but that was still an "OH FREAKIN ****" Moment right there.

My mouth was hanging open after his head rolled on the ground when I saw it on Foxbox. That last scene with Leo versus Shredder was so well animated and directed.

Return to New York III is the reason I started watching this show straight through. :D I caught a few episodes in its early runs . (the turtles X-sporting through the sewers in an early ep and the flashbacks of Tales of Leo) and thought they were lame. Then I started watching as a way to pass the time unil X-Men: Evolution aired. I started with Return to New York II. And part III....yeah, that left my jaw on the floor.

While this episode was a bigger shocker before "Secret Origins," it still is a damn fine episode. And Baxter proves that he's immortal. :P

I still don't like how the Turtels can take on the Shred's elite guard so easliy. The same goes with them taking on 20 foot soldiers without any difficulty. I know the turtles have been well trained, but where's the suspense? They go to commercial when the Turtles have been surrounded by 20 foot soldiers. After commercials, we see the turtles proceed to give beat downs with ease against the foot soldiers. The foot soldiers and the elite guard are almost a non-factor.

The only time they actually made a difference was the "Shredder Strikes Back" episodes. In these episodes, we see a number foot soldiers outnumber Leo, and he get pretty injured. It was also in these episodes where the elite guards actually seemed evenly match with the turtles. Later on, there are just like foot soldiers to the turtles but dressed diffferently; they don't provide a challenge.

I thought the Guardians fought the Foot Leigon, while the Turtles handled Shredder...

If ever cockroaches evolved into a higher form of life, Baxter Stockman would be it.

Although I thought the "Rogue in the House" two-parter may have gone a little too far in showing Baxter's immortality...

I can say I love the final 6 episodes of Season 1 since they have great fighting moment, and comedy moments. Well I can say I love when Casey's attack on the T.C.R.I building with the toaster. The Pidegon puppet came out of nowhere, and that scene always crack me up, and thankfully I got the dvd with the Search of Splinter, Part 1. Today episode, there is an big surpise at the end.

they're going back to "Things Change" after next week???
I was hoping they'd go all the way to "Return to the Underground"

I still say it's strange since they have all 52 episodes on the CN site for the turtles. I wonder why they're stopping now. I guess they want to have a +20 episode batch to premiere in the fall or something. Or maybe they didn't want to get that ahead of FoxBox, whose only up to episode 49.
