CCF was alright, but about the 100th time I saw Blossom host, I thought it was time to move on.

it was fun while it lasted but it got old seeing the same people host every so often but Fridays is great never gets old.

Yeah, the cartoon hosts kept more in theme with the all-animation aspect of the channel, but I'd happily ditch that in order to have something new every week.

I'd rather see the same CCF 100,000 more times than see CNF once. Thus why I don't watch Cartoon Network on Fridays anymore. Burn in Hell CNF!

It was much better when CCF was in it's original format when a cartoon character was the host for the evening.I can't stand the two hosts and the dance parties has gotta go.

The real reason why CCF is now CNF: They are airing non-Cartoon Cartoons on Fridays more often. Do you really consider What's New Scooby-Doo a Cartoon Cartoon? I don't. CNF works better. Plus, the block can finally air other properties (like Mucha Lucha and the Pokemon films) on one of their biggest nights without the stigma of someone questioning the Cartoon Cartoon-ness of them. Long live the Big Guy Shimmy!

I preferred CCF over CNF becuase CNF with the two live action people and goofy dances makes them desperately look like "Hey We're Like Nickelodeon, watch us!" I agree though, CCF needed changes from their regular "cartoons hosting thing." I swear, everytime I actually watched it was Bubbles, Muriel, or Jonny Bravo hosting. CNF just doesn't feel like a Cartoon Network thing though. So in conclusion, I don't know what I want...

I think the reality is we didn't want what we got. Some do like the new Fridays. Some don't. I try to ignore the lead in segments. If it continues into the new season I might get peeved. I know I'm way too old to be in their target segment. But a lot of adults like cartoons as well. This stuff just seems silly to me.

But I can watch the shows I want while dodging most of the host segments. So all in all not too bad. But I'd of hoped for better.

It did get tiring with the same characters hosting CCF all of the time. But still it didn't keep them necessarily from airing non Cartoon Cartoons. They could've without any problem. It just seems to be part of the general switch of CN into "branded" cartoon blocks aimed at demographic numbers.

I think Red Recker was exactly right when he said it was like Nickelodian man, has that channel gone down hill or what?

I don't miss CCF. It was stupid and dumb.

This conversation is pointless. None of you are in the demographic for CNF. Why complain about something that that isn't for you? They at least try to make it entertaining for all ages with their skits and irreverent comedy and pace. But its for KIDS. They didn't make this block specifically for teens or adults. So come on.

It's hard to fatom that CNF and AS are on the same channel.
No it isn't. Cartoon Network is a channel catering to many different people. If you can't tolerate that, and want the network solely dedicated to you and you alone, please leave.

I agree with Matt. I don't miss CCF either.

Not that I watch CNF, but it definitely gives that more kid friendly appeal.. I'm comparing it to the nick Slime time live and all that. It's a nice change of pace from just all cartoons, and it brings some sort of interaction in a way.

And I'm glad that they can show movies like Pokemon and all that, gives that block more flexibility and it's own individuality in a way..

Yeah, I liked it when it was hosted by characters of the shows. The hosts they have now suck. I don't even watch it anymore....

Besides, I've moved on to Adult Swim, and watch ESPN anyways.:)

While I haven't watched Fridays on a regular basis for years, I like CNF more than CCF. CCF was just...there. One or two of the segments might make me chuckle, but it just seemed like it was made the day before. The new Fridays is actually pretty funny (LOVE the intro, BTW) with some corny skits and stuff. And I love how it doesn't take itself seriously at all.
