I have just gotten word that Ed, Edd n Eddy have been renewed for a 5th and 6th season! Well if they're finally running their other shows over 4 seasons besides Dexter and PPG, then why won't they renew other shows like Courage the Cowardly Dog and Cow and Chicken? I mean c'mon let's not take favoritism here (I'm talking about Cartoon Network doing the favoritism).

Because it's Cartoon Network and Cartoon Network never makes sense.

I thought Ed,edd n eddy ended because they didn't want it be a long show and run out of scams or something.

Ed Edd n Eddy is a good show and Courage is not, so I support this.

The webmaster of Eddzone tends to have direct pipeline to Danny Antoinucci and aka Cartoons and seems to talk with them a lot, so they're reliable.

:(

I love E, E, & E but what little I saw of season 4 wasn't real good at all :( then again Courage s4 relied way to much on grossout stuff and wasn't the best season either. I'm all for CN killing the 52 episode limit but but in these 2 cases stopping at 52 would be for the best

They just took it the wrong way. The new character desighns, the new VA's, the terrible plots, I'm sure it looked good on paper, but then it just didn't go right at all. It was terrible.

I love this.Ed,Edd, and Eddy getting more means I get entertained more, which means alot of fights are avoided.

Wow.

Just as long as they don't dramatically change the character designs, fire the writers, hire Kirk Tingblad, or introduce extremely annoying characters, this ought to be good!

This is great news, 2 new seasons sounds great. I admit I never watched the show alot but from what I saw it was pretty funny and the repeats I watch are also pretty funny.

Wow.

Just as long as they don't dramatically change the character designs, fire the writers, hire Kirk Tingblad, or introduce extremely annoying characters, this ought to be good!Don't see that happening, not with Ed, Edd, and Eddy. It's too reptative(with the scams always being the main focus) and insane too change. It is't dosle and vunarable like Dexter's lab was. Also they haven't added any characters to the show since it premered, with the exception of the Kankers. But it's almost like they've always been there now.

I support this, as long as Antonucci himself is still in charge of the show. If not, it's going to be Dexter and Johnny Bravo all over again.

I disagree, but good chance is I'm in the minority. I liked Courage a lot. The animation was really good, some of the storylines were quite funny and some of the monsters were just downright cool.

I personally don't care for Ed, Edd, 'n Eddy. I just see the same goofy schemes with the irritating voices and animation over and over and over and over. It's almost like they don't even bother trying to make the show seem that different.

Rad, I basically agree with you as I too am not fond of the Eds. But on the good side getting CN to do away with an arbitrary 52 episode limit for a show that does have fan support is a good thing indeed. I don't pretend to know anything of the economics of cartoon production or airing but I'd have to think some shows do deserve new episodes. As long as they stay good.

I also liked Courage. But I'd rather see it stop than to continue with crappy episodes. I didn't like season four as much but it wasn't as bad as the "new" Dexter's or some of the new PPGs.

I just become concerned at the increasing emphasis on chasing demographics at the expense of good shows. And do we really need to have one Cartoon Cartoon show airing three or four times a day. With the amount of material CN is "sitting" on they can add some variety without costing themselves a penny. They do own HB and have connections with Kids WB.

Still if the Eds have a good audience and since ratings are a necessary evil that is a good sign. That CN will still listen to it's fans. If the money is there.

That's pretty much why I accept Ed, Edd, 'n Eddy getting new episodes. IT gets Cartoon Network good ratings. I may not like it much, but hey several other people do. That's life.

Courage has horrible animation and unimaginative storyboarding. Ed Edd n Eddy has great animation and brilliant storyboarding. There's no comparison, really.
