IF you could live anywhere in the world where would it be? If I could live anywhere it would be in Tokyo, Japan. I'm taking Nihongo right now and it is really a fun language. I am also learnign about the culture it's pretty cool. Plus, i love the city life.

I'd also say Tokyo in conjunction to your post.

In the U.S.A though I'd say New York.

I'd say Japan in general... Fukuoka, Tokyo, and Okinawa are all nice, but since I've already lived there, I'd like to try someplace else. Maybe Osaka...

Yeesh... lotta Japan fans here. I've lived there, and I think the US is a better deal. More open space, and the populace isn't near as homogenous. Tokyo is a neat city, but ludicrously crowded, and confusingly organized.

Anyhow... this is a neat question. Of all the places I've visited, I think the Italian countryside is probably the most breathtaking, so I'd really enjoy living there. It's really beautiful, the people are nice, and things are pleasantly quiet, most of the time. Nice (in France) would be a pretty sweet place to call home, too.

Here in the US, I'm partial to San Francisco, Austin (which is where I do live), and New York.

South Island of New Zealand. I have concrete plans to move out there after college...I have no wish to remain in a crumbling empire...ah Rome the sequel.

Anyways I'm going to study abroad my junior year to Aussie just to scout it out but I think I prefer the landscape of NZ..many people will say Japan, though a very fascinating land it's not exactly the safest nation in the word with N Korea wishing it's obliteration.

There's too many reasons to list why I'm set on moving there but to sum it up- it's secure, it's not congested, the landscapes there are beautiful and diverse, lots of outdoors stuff to do, and LOTR was made there :D. It just looks like a really cool place to live and I hear nothing but good things.

If I could live any where it would probably be somewhere in Europe like France or England. If I lived in France I would take anywhere north of Paris, there is beautiful country out there, southern France i did not like mostly because it was a little dirtier and prostitutes roam the streets.

England would be awesome because everytime I see pictures of it it looks beautiful with the green grass and lovely castles.

I would also try Australia because its the land down under with unique animals and interesting places like Ayers Rock and the Opera house.

And I believe this will be my 100th post. YAY!

I would like to live in Japan for a few years for the experience and to investigate the culture. And if my intentions to some day become a professional translator carry through, I might just have that oppurtunity.

I'd like to try my hand at living in Germany as well, of course that would also tie into my translator's ambitions. If I could get citizenship, which is very difficult, I might like to live in Switzerland.

But in the end, I think I'd like to live in a modestly well-appointed house on Mull or Iona.

I'd love to move to England, Scotland, or somewhere in Europe. Japan would be nice, too, if it wasn't so crowded. And Canada just because it's frickin awesome. =(

Well there's Sweden just so I could say I live in Sweden(bork bork bork)...I wouldn't mind going to England, Scotland, New Zealand, Australia, or Japan for vacation but I think I'd rather live in the US.

I really want to move to Canada. For many reasons. One, I don't care for our president (or Kerry). Two, I think it would be cool to live there. And a perk is that I know a little French (yes, I know it's not the same as the French in France).

Plus, I live in WI right now, so depending on where I live in Canada, my family can visit fairly easily. :anime:

I really want to move to Canada.

We don't want you!! :p

:D

I want to visit so many places and divide my time between living in Ireland and Japan (I have two Japanese pen pals. One is willing to teach me Japanese and when I go visit, he's willing me to show me around. I miss my other Japanese pen pal :( ), IF I can afford it. If I can only afford to stay in North America, I'm moving to Saskatchewan.

I would like to live in Canada. I think that Canada has a very interesting culture and some great land, and it is also a very progressive country. It would be pretty cool to live there. I'd prefer living in one of the cities - I'm thinking probably Edmonton or Vancouver, or maybe somewhere in Atlantic Canada. I hear that it is really nice out there, with the Altlantic Ocean and the wildlife.

If I had to live somewhere in the States, I would probably want to live in a larger city near where I live, like Nashville or Atlanta, as they are much larger markets for my major in college. I have nothing against Raleigh whatsoever, I feel that it is a nice city and has lots of things to do in the area. But as a communication student I worry that Raleigh (around #40 in market size) would not have as many opportunities for success after college as Nashville or Atlanta (both in the top 20). The Tidewater region (Norfolk/Virginia Beach/Suffolk/Newport News) could be a possibility too.

If you love shopping and going to amusement parks and other activites, Edmonton is your best choice. You'll be near West Edmonton Mall.

If you love fresh FRESH seafood, Nova Scotia is your best choice for Atlantic Canada.

If you're in love with history, Quebec City is the best choice for you. It's the oldest city in North America.

If you're a sports fan, Toronto is your best place. You get to see all of the four major sports provided by Toronto itself (I'm no sports fan myself). Also, if you want to be in a CAPCOM title, move there. ;) :D

If you're into casinos, Montreal, Regina and Saskatoon are three very good choices.

If you're just into serenity, every place up here is the place for you.

Take my suggestions as you will. :)

Sweet, an all-Canadian love-fest in here. :)

Within Canada itself, I would still by far and large rather live in the Vancouver area as compared to anywhere else. Other regions would be a smaller Palm-Springs-esque city in the interior called Kelowna (where I was born), Montreal (cuz of the history, the culture, the hockey, w00t!), and...begrudgingly...I think I could actually live in Toronto. If I absolutely had to.

Plenty of good places in the States too, but I'm a West Coast kinda guy - but I also need to live in big cities (and near the water), so that means San Francisco, Los Angeles, or anywhere else in SoCal is cool with me. Hell, I might actually push for Seattle or Portland - they're virtually Vancouver-esque cities in the US, just more rainy.

Outside of Fortress North America, I really like the look of Australia. Sydney, specifically - it is Vancouver's sister-city, after all. :)

Calling me a "chick" is a BIG nono. Call me anything BUT, even b***h I don't mind. :p

I forgot OTHER major cities so don't sweat it. My cousin lives in BC, so there's my excuse to go. :p :D

I plan on back packing through my home. :)

While I plan to get as far away from Yuma as humanly possible, I want to stay right here in Arizona. Phoenix and its surrounding areas are very nice. Great weather, lots to do, and things aren't rediculously expensive. Anywhere in middle America sounds good to me. Just keep me away from both coasts. I have no need for the insanity that goes on there.

If for some reason I got thrown out of the good ol' US of A, I'd probably go to Japan or Australia, assuming they'd let me in. :) But not Canada. Canada stinks :p

The one place I would love to live right now is a city about 30 minutes outside of Atlanta, called Norcross. I was born and raised for 13 years there, until we moved to Montana two years ago. I hate it here and wish I were back in the South:sad: I miss all my friends and just the familiarity of the place I grew up in.

I know what you mean. I live in Quebec right now and the province I want to move to is Saskatchewan. People ask me why. They tell me there's nothing there. Two casinos (that I know of): Regina (and it's pronounced the way you think it is, and it's not pronounced "Regeena") and Saskatoon. Quebec is my birth province. I'm proud of it, but the rest of Canada is calling me. :)

London would be nice as well. But for the record I'd never go to tokyo unless I'd die if I didn't :)

Well, I think Canada would be nice...

Oh, wait. I already live here. Never mind! :D

Anyways, where I am now is pretty good, though I don't really care for my city being completely landlocked. Because of that, I wouldn't mind at all living on the West Coast, in one of the smaller towns (since I don't really care much for big cities like Toronto and Vancouver). Never been there myself, but it seems like a nice place (plus they have the mild winters there too). The East Coast would be good to live in too.

The same would go for the U.S. I think it'd be cool living in places like California or Maine. I could see myself living in Hawaii, actually. Outside of this continent, New Zealand seems like a nice place.

I'm gonna say Italy. Specificly Rome in which case my dreams of becoming a full-time gladiator would seem a bit more within reach.

They do still have gladiators, right?

That's exactly what I was thinking of. I lived in Japan once but it was only when I was a baby and I would like to go back there and live there for a while. And I would drive either a moped or a vespa around(Are mopeds and vespas both similar?).
