View Full Version : What Type Personality Are You?

Are you a Type A, B, C, or D personality?
I used to be a Type B, but since I entered college, I'm more of a Type A, with a little Type C thrown in there (i.e. I have difficulty expressing any frustrations towards others). Part of me says I should probably relax and go back to being Type B, due to the apparent health risks associated with the others, but then again, a Type A personality is the only thing that allows me to get homework done in college.
So what are you?
I have no idea.
I'd guess a Type B, but I don't even know what C and D are.

Call it B+.
I am content with being Support/Backup, Unless I either get Interested in something, or ticked off. Then I will not be Denied... Regardless.
(Actually, that's really consistant with a "Pure type B" Personality, so really upon Further reflection, I guess you could say that I'm solid B)

I'd guess a Type B, but I don't even know what C and D are. Yeah, types C & D aren't as well-known, as they're more recent, but basically:
Type Cs have difficulty expressing their true feelings, and tend to keep things inside. This can weaken their immune system in the long run, and the potential to get cancer is higher as a result. A classic type C will mask their face and try to make everyone happy, regardless if it's what they want to do.
Type Ds are depressed, don't think they can do anything right, and have a bleak outlook on life. They're typically socially inhibited. (Keep in mind that just because you might be a loner doesn't mean you're socially inhibited) This is the most recent personality type, adopted in 1998, I believe.

Oh, Recca isn't stupid!! He's just young and loves ninjas and wants to protect his Princess. :) And yes, he has a bullet with his name on it (so to speak).
Going by the topic at hand, looks like I'm a C.

While I appreciate Speedy Boris for the C & D lowdown, can anyone tell me what type A & B's classifications are?

I think I'm C. But it would probably help if I knew what this is for or from.

While I appreciate Speedy Boris for the C & D lowdown, can anyone tell me what type A & B's classifications are? Sorry, I just figured A & B were common knowledge- now I know better.
Type A personalities are self-motivated, are annoyed/angered easily, and are constantly working (to go along with this, they are rarely satisfied with their work). They are more high-strung/impatient than type Bs and this can raise their chances for heart attacks later on. Type As feel that there isn't enough time to do everything, and looks towards the future instead of living one day at a time.
Type B personalities are generally laid back, easy-going, take their time in doing work (but are generally satisfied), are more accepting of individuals and their faults, and generally lives in the moment, as opposed to planning ahead. Hope that helps!

I’ve never really been able to fit into one type. I’m kind of all over the board…..I bolded what applies to me.

I'm definitely a A type mixed in with some B and I'm trying to kick my type C tendencies. I'm too resilient and optimistic to be a type D personality.

I am partly Type A. I work at everything and make it my best effort and push myself no matter what. The other part is Type C. I try to keep my feelings to myself just to make ppl happy even if I don't want to.
Hmm... I guess sometime in the future I'm gonna have a heart attack or cancer or something...darn
I'm....none of those.
I guess I'll call myself a Type Mike.

Seems I am 1/2 Type C, 1/4 Type B, and 1/4 Type D, and a small smidge fraction of Type A.

I like HumanoidTyphoon's idea, so I'm going to shamelessly rip it off. For me you can completely remove type B from the picture though.

I am deffinately a Type B with Type A tendencies. When I am working I am hardly satisfied and annoyed easily by stuff. The rest of the time, I am laid back. I live one day at a time, but I plan for the future as well.
I am just all over the place :D

C/D, with a little bit of B mixed in, probably. But I thought there would be some kind of test to prove this...my own opinion of myself isn't very good and/or accurate.
Yeah. Definitely D.

Well, I don't know about A-D, but I'm an INTP with an entreprenurial hook, according to The Kearsey Temperment Sorter (http://keirsey.com/frame.html).

I'm an Artisan. But to find out which I have to pay, and I'm not spending money to have a hunk of metal tell me what it thinks I am. I know what I am and that's good enough for me.

Sorry, I just figured A & B were common knowledge- now I know better. You're probably right, and these probably are common knowledge. I just don't follow much psyche-stuff, and I don't do labels that often so...
Type A :rarely satisfied with their work That's me with personal projects and creative work. Where professional work is concerned, I'm generally very satisfied with what I do, because I'm a hard worker and take pride in doing a very good job.
Type B personalities are generally laid back, easy-going, more accepting of individuals, and generally lives in the moment, as opposed to planning ahead. I do plan ahead on a lot of things, but I also can be very spontaneious.
Type C: have difficulty expressing their true feelings, and tend to keep things inside. This can weaken their immune system in the long run I am VERY reserved with my most personal feelings. And I was born with a weak immune system, so perhaps I was keeping too much to myself in the fetus. ;)
A classic type C will mask their face and try to make everyone happy, regardless if it's what they want to do. Yup. That's definately me.
Type Ds: socially inhibited I can be very socially inhibeted at times.
Over all, I'm somewhere between B/C.

I'm very Eccentric and I'm very Introverted (Meaning I don't like going to Loud Parties and Stay home instead) Also,I have very Poor Eye Contact and I take things Quite Seriously, even if it is a Joke. I have Mood Swings often and when someone gets Hurt,I don't really show any Emotion. I'm very Smart in Certain Subjects but I kinda Lack Social Understanding and such. Why Type do you think I am?
