I'm not sure if this is the best idea but does anyone know what the por's and con's of going to job corps are?
My brother went there and it look's like i'm going to have to go becuase I'm not going to able to stay in school becuase of all the work i have and some reallu UNSTABLE living codition...so what would be better? Going to job corps or just stop school?

Well, at Job Corps, you can get your GED FREE. They feed you for FREE. They house you for FREE (definitely a plus for someone with "unstable" living conditions.). They train you for FREE. And you even get a little money on the side and at the end.
But when you say school, what school do you mean, high school or college? You can go to Job Corps for either, but if you already have your diploma you'd just be going for your vocational training and possibly your driver's license. My advice to you is, if you do go, have some idea about what trade you'd be interested in.
Of course, there are cons about JC, as well. As a Residential student, you would most likely only be able to go home on the weekends. And the time after school would probably be....less than exciting. And the weekends generally suck. But they have plenty of trips. Also FREE, I might add.
And don't let them push you around...;)
There will probably be people who are having a bad experience and want to drag you down with them. You just have to be strong enough to resist them. Do that, remember why you would go there, and you'll be fine. :) You'll make friends, and you might even make some enemies, but you certainly won't be forgeting your experience anytime soon. :D .
But the most important thing to remember is that you have to want Job Corps for yourself. If you're going to satisfy your mother or something you won't last long and the time you spend there will be a living Hell.
Here's (http://jobcorps.doleta.gov/)the JC home page. Look around. See what kind of vocational training they have in the Job Corps near your area.
Whew. Probably more information then you wanted, but this is something that I just had to get off my chest. Thanks, you have no idea how therapeutic this "comversation" was for me.:)
I'm in high school i really do wanna go to get training in culinary arts.

In that case, you would be going for your GED (if you choose to leave HS) plus a vocation and possibly a driver's license.
