General reminder for everyone...
if you use Geocities to store your images, GeoCities won't let you create a direct link to them on sites outside GeoCities. However, all is not lost... if you post the link, there are still two options for people to follow:
1) Good Ol' Cut & Paste: Just C&P the URL from the post to your browser and it'll load up fine
2) Following the link: if you do follow the link, you'll get the GeoCities page that yells at you saying there's no such file, blah blah blah, yakkity shmakity, etc. etc. However, if you go up to the URL, and just insert a space at the end of the address, you'll be able to load up the picture just fine.
I know there are several free-hosts that don't allow you to outside link there stuff... besides GeoCities, Angelfire comes to mind. Next opportunity I get, I will check out as many free-host servers as I can and give you guys a better listing of who lets you do what... However, for the time being, keep the above in mind when posting links to *any* free-hosting site.
