I didnt know how to send anybody news so i posted it here:
The Flintstones link is here, and the Tiny Toon Adventures link is here:
http://pocket.ign.com/previews/15732.html - Flintstones
http://pocket.ign.com/previews/16610.html - Tiny Toon Adventuress: Busters Bad Dream
http://pocket.ign.com/previews/17177.html - Animaniacs
I posted the info for the Tiny Toons VG on the TTA board, but thought I'd post it here since I didnt think you all would see it. Someone may wanna post this in news.
What makes them each newsworthy is that the Flintstones and Tiny Toons games are back in the hands of the ORIGINAL creators of the old NES games. :D
THIS is a good thing.
With Tiny Toons - the developing branch is Treasure. They used to do the Castlevania, Goemon, and Contra series. They did all the original Tiny Toons games up to the Sega Genesis version. You can find out more on them and the other games in my TTA post in that forum.
Most Flintstones/Jetsons games suck, but this Flintstones game is done by H20. I think they had a hand in the first Flintstones and Jetsons NES games. the first one wasnt a marvel, but it was a lot more fun than the other games that followed so it probably wont suck. I'm guessing though.
This one IS a follow up to that previous NES game and the Game Boy Game BIG TROUBLE IN BEDROCK where the villian was a videogame character named Dr. Sinister. I know this much cause I remember the stories behind the GBA game and the OLD NES version. It'll probably be hit or miss.
I dont know anything about the developer on Animaniacs.
As for tiny Toons - I think Treasure's reputation on the old TTA games, and its current repuatation stands up for itself :)
