Did the intro just air twice?

EDIT: Also, was I just slow to notice, are have the past two episodes featured really funky-looking walk animations?

EDIT EDIT: Bwahaha... Tidal Wave having a sweatdrop was great.

Sweatdrops on CGI cel-shaded robots are indeed great.

MAN, the good guys are just as bad as shooting as the ol' school Cobra! :D Now THAT'S worth a bwahahaha...

mika has a nice skirt. and kicker has a girlfriend named mika, what a coincidence.. hope she makes it out of the elevator alive. oh, nice, she has a purpose in this series.

i wonder how optimus prime gained the ability to have super mode before energon's beginning? someday they ought to explain.

scorponok is so much bolder than his beast wars namesake, i see.

uh oh!??! did the giant tidalwave just sweatdrop? shades of robots in disguise, maybe.

scorponok's boss.. sure is getting impatient.

how did megatron get stuck in the wall, anyway?

uh.. did megatron speak and noone really.. got nervous!??!

megatron is so much cooler now.. looks a bit like he used to from the original transformers. now if only he got rid of his blue toupee

i feel sorry for scorponok.

boy, that's one way for unicron to get ahead in the universe..

hotshot!? you ok buddy?

speak to me,

Excellent stuff! Looks like they didn't cut out anything from the Superlink version.

Good stuff. Not really any dubbing errors I noticed. Didn't hear anyone slip and say Galvatron or anything. And, really, I never expected anything to be "cut"... It really seems like the Japanese version may have fixed a few things here and there before airing them.

Megatron is back, and he rocks! Too funny to see him make Scorponok his *****. And not to mention totally decimating a Cybertron city and busting up Hot Shot like that. I guess he had some pent up anger from being stuck there in the wall for so long.

This ep seemed to fly by... can't wait to see the showdown next week. Maybe if the used the episode previews it wouldn't be so bad.

was it me or was the episode more violent then the last episode of Armade + the first 5 of Energon? early on was the Autobots dominating those weak Terrorcons even moreso then usual and then the rest of the episode is all Megatron! he sure got one heck of a power boost and his ressurection/updrade was kinda scary! http://members.aol.com/kimminakochan/chicken.gif

At the end of Armada, Megatron sacrificed himself to Unicron so that the Chaos Bringer (who feeds off hate) would leave that part of the universe. As you imagine, being digested by Unicron doesn't make you look too good.

Actually, this version of Megatron is based off G1 Galvatron (in fact, he's called Galvatron in Japan), who was Megatron's reformatted body in Transformers: The Movie. And Galvatron is supposed to have the 'crown' on his head. Intrestingly enough, Hasbro/Takara designed this head to evoke the G1 Megatron (rounded helmet), G1 Galvatron (crown) and abit of Armada Megatron (crown having serrated horns).

This episode was so slagin' AWESOME!!!!!!!!!:D

I'm glad the episode centered around Megatron and him being reborn unlike the typical anime where they wait until the last 5 minutes. I, obviously, enjoyed every part with Megatron in it.:)

The only errors would be showing the beginning theme twice and there was this very brief part where 2 of AlphaQ's heads voices got mixed up. But that's dismissable.;)

Overall A+. I can't wait for next Saturday!:anime:

edit: did anyone think of the movie when Unicron's head seperated from his body?

Other than the fact that Megs looks too much like G1 Galvatron, the episode wasn't bad. I only wish Megatron was like this in Armada...

This was a good episode, very intersting with Unicrons head on it's onw and Megs is back and better then ever, well not better than the orignal but an improvement over armada. He looks cooler in the current form.

Megatron come, he saw, he slagged Hot Shot & kicked Scorpinok's sorry metal ass.

Thoughts: First off, let me get out my system ENERGON MEGATRON ROCKS. Second, this episode is great, Tidal Wave's sweatdrop is one thing, & I did like Kicker's idea of using a Battle Ravage to find the energon to power the canons(though the accent was too over the top).

GRADE: A+ just because of Megatron.

And that's the fact Jack.;)

Seeing the crest, and how much he kicked Scorpinok's butt, I personally would like him to be called Galvatron. No biggie though, just a comment. Besides, calling him Galvatron would be kind of a nice harken back to G1.

He is called Galvatron in the Superlink version, guess Hasbro and Takara had a slight different direction in mind when they designed the character. There is a prety cool moment in the Superlink version of this episode where Galvatron corrects Scorponok and tells him to call him Galvatron.

It didn't seem that cool, just alright. It just seemed sudden, and without any reason for it.

And let's save Galvatron for the repaint... which will do more than look like Galvatron in simple design... it'll be colored like him.

Unfortunately for Hasbro, every once in awhile they have to name a toy/character with a name if they want to keep the name trademarked - this has resulted in some very odd naming choices, but its better than losing names to other toy companies, like 'Hot Rod' to Mattel's Hot Wheels division.
Also, 'Megatron' is a more recognisable name/character to kids (target market), their parents and casual fans than Galvatron.

The head of TF at Hasbro said if it were up to him, he would have named it Galvatron or Galvatron Imperius - no doubt they will do one or the other when repaint time arrives.

I bet you midway through the season, there comes a repaint, and behold, GALVATRON!

(Hopefully Alpha-Q is dead by then and Unicron appears to take charge and give him some minions)

1. The intro probably came with the episode tape, so when the TV controllers also played the intro tape before the episode tape, it resulted in the intro being played twice.

2. So, it took the Autobots months to develop their defensive system (and yet still badly needs a good aiming program - those couldn't even hit Tidal Wave from point blank range), yet thru all that time, they haven't gotten much reconnaissance? The least they could do was slip some hidden spy devices on the Terrorcons returning to their base.

3. Megatron sure was a bad-ass, not rusty at all from that long freeze.
If he could whoop Scorponok's ass and the Autobot base (with that strange uber-sword), he should destroy Optimus, who needs his 5 midgets just to take on Scorponok. :D

Cool episode. Megatron's "introduction" in Energon looked really nice and it was great watching him kick everyone's butt immediately, starting with Scorponok's face. Can't wait to see what happens next week.

I give Megatron Resurrected an A.

Why, after all that happened in Armada and prior to this, would Megatron even THINK of serving a conscious Unicron?

And as for AQ being dead... don't bet on it.

Hey, if they can...

Brainwash Starscream

Not to mention that Megs is working towards reviving Unicron, I don't see why not.

The series just started. Here's hoping AQ takes a dirt nap.

Brainwash Starscream
That's different. Starscream is DEAD when he's revived. He also isn't brainwashed, he just has no memory.

Not to mention that Megs is working towards reviving Unicron,
Towards reviving a Unicron that no longer has a brain. He wants to use Unicron's body, it seems, and that's about as far as it goes.

I don't see why not. The series just started. Here's hoping AQ takes a dirt nap.
I'd rather he not. I don't want to loose the "3rd party" threat that AQ brings. That, and he's a bit more than Mr. "I'm an evil genius plotting against everyone!", and I like that. The multiple personalities deal is amusing.

Energon Megs is colored like Galvatron. Specifically, he's colored like the Galvatron toy. He was originally supposed to be called Galvatron in the US, but Hasbro didn't like the idea of the main Transformers line not having a Megatron.

Whatever the reason for the name, this episode was great (better than much of G1, several episodes of Beast Wars, all of Beast Machines, and all of Armada). No noticeable dub problems, Megs thouroghly trashed Scorponock, the Autobots put a stop to the energon raids for a while, Kicker did something smart, and we got a nice cliffhanger.

Just because the intro was played twice doesn't mean that'll make it better in "Megatron Resurrected" Review:

^ I think the same can be said for my review.:p

Haha.. So supposedly the intro ran twice. I didn't notice, so obviously it didn't bother me. Well today's episode was very entertaining. The transformers pretty much handed the terrorcons and Unicron's goons their butts and were easily getting the upperhand. Then it comes out that Scorponok tries to get rid off Megatron.. when it comes out Megatron has been absorbing a lot of energon from them.. instead Scorponok ends up releasing Megatron, in a new form and Megatron kicks Scorponok's butt all over the place and puts his mark on him.. Megatron was awesome in this episode, he really carried the episode and put the momentum back on the badguys side. For once Kicker was not the main part of the show, but it was nice to see him and Mika(sp?) develop their relationship a bit... A+.

Too bad for you that most Transfans considered it a good episode.

A very cool eps. Megatron revives, Kicker finds a practical use for a Ravage, and Scorponok ends the eps. looking like hamburger. Plus Hotshot gets his arm torn off.
