Why did they get rid of it? Are they planning to put it back on CN anytime soon? I loved seeing all of the different shorts that I had never seen before.

Well, CN commisioned some new shorts to be made, so it will return(probably next year). Hopefully they will be good.

Unfortunately Cartoon Network has quit branding "Cartoon Cartoons". Now everything is just generic cartoons on the station. They quit the Big Pick in 2001. In 2002, they aired "Summerfest", which aired orignal cartoons, but did not really stress the idea of "Cartoon Cartoons", and did not render a winner...although they did end up chosing the LowBrow segment and turn it into a show. Cartoon Network takes away so many good things about it... next thing you know they'll be stopping Fridays alltogether.

The way Fridays is now, that would be a good thing.

I doubt they'll ditch Fridays. The ratings for Friday nights are through the roof.
