Since Mr. Alasky posts on this board, I have a question that I've been thinking about if he chooses to answer. If anyone else wants to answer, that's fine too.
The question: How does Joe differentiate between Daffy in Duck Dodgers and Plucky Duck in Tiny Toon Adventures? Is there a pitch change between the two or something? To me, they sound frightfully similar.
If you can help me figure that out, I would like it very much.

The difference between the two characters' voices is admittedly small, since Plucky was based on Daffy, as per WB's request. In the TTA auditions, I was asked to provide a voice which was recognizably "the same, but different".
So I removed the gravelly aspects of Daffy's delivery to emphasize PD's youth & switched the lisp from frontal (at the lips) to lateral (on the back teeth).
The pitch change was & is the same for both characters, however -- 7%.
Hope that covers it, & thanks for asking.
