Anyway those cartoons really aren't my favorite, they're fun to watch but I'd never call them good. I'd rather see more Loony Tunes and Flinstones. The fact that Scooby is the only "old" cartoon they show a lot is sad.

Well Loony Tunes would most likly be my cup of tea, but I say that they need to bring that back sometime, because my favorite year would be from the Mid 50's to the Mid 60's cartoons, regards a bit near better animated and less choppy, plus I find the Road Runner and Bugs Bunny Cartoons a bit more funny those days.

I'm with you there. Cartoon Network used to show Birdman all the time. I don't know what happened. I guess they shoved all those 60s shows over to Boomerang.

The only old cartoons I want to see again on CN are:

-The Bob Clampett Show
-The Tex Avery Show
-Superfriends (I want to see how much of a trainwreck this show is)
-The original He-Man from the 1980's
-The Flintstones (my sister and I love that show, both the pre-Pebbles eps and the post-Pebbles eps. Some of the Gazoo ones are okay)
-Top Cat (this show was my morning cup of tea when I started high school)
-Freakazoid (see Top Cat)

...but mainly I want CN to pick up some cartoons that have been long since forgotten like Toonsylvania and the cartoon version of The Mask. Hey, if CN can air syndicated cartoons like Baby Looney Tunes, Totally Spies, and Sitting Ducks, then this should be on there too.

The only "old" TV cartoons I see CN airing nowadays is its rotating "Boomerang on CN" block on the early weekend mornings, besides "Scooby Doo". And even that's mostly just an "ad" to get us to watch/get our cable companies to subscribe to Boomerang (which all of, like, six people get, but which carries most of the old cartoons mentioned above).

I wish CN would bring back:

Looney Tunes daily instead of just weekends (At least I can get that on Boomerang, even though it's just a half hour.)
Popeye daily as well
The Tex Avery and Bob Clampett shows
Rocky and Bullwinkle
Late Night Black & White
The Acme Hour
Also get the Chuck Jones Show and Toon Heads back on Sunday night

At least they're still carrying Tom & Jerry, although I could go for more of that as well.

Cartoon Network trasnfered a lot of their older cartoons to their sister channel, Boomerang. They did this I think to keep things fresh, and I don't think its such a terrible idea. Cartoon Network does air a block of cartoons called "Boomerang" on Sundays. Every week they pick a year and play only cartoons from that.

My God CN! Show some b/w stuff !!!
Anyway, in my book, stuff like spaceghost is not old.
That is because my favorite cartoons are from the 10s and 20s.
Is it true that some silent and b/w cartoons are being shown on CN in Japan?
I could have sworn reading a listing for CN's schedule for one night in Japan... It had a Jerry On the Job cartoon, which as a series, dates back to the late teens to 1921.

I dunno if the original Space Ghost or Birdman cartoons will ever see the light of day on CN again, much less in a good timeslot, thanks to the Adult Swim parodies.
