From a "whoa cool!" stand-point, I prefer the telescope, but when I just look with my own eyes, I have a more spiritual experience and feel very peaceful. Generally we keep 1 eye open for aliens just in case.

Also one night, the way the clouds were circling the moon and stars in broken rings with moonbeams falling on us reminded me of Chrono Cross for some reason.

Mosquitoes though, the mosquitoes SUCK at midnight on a summer night.

I do that all the time. Actually, one career I'd like to pursue is astronomer, so yeah:)

I used to live in a big city, so it was hard to see the stars. But here in Montana there are so many more visible, it's gorgeous. In the summer I love to sit out on the patio and just watch the stars. My telescope is pretty weak, but I use it sometimes. The stars are just gorgeous and it's relaxing to sit out and watch them. I like to wonder what all is out there. I honestly think the universe is too big for there not to be intelligent life elsewhere in the universe. But the big question is where.

I always like to look at the stars whenever I can, even if it's just for a couple of minutes... I usually try to find some constellations or just gaze up at them and, yeah. ^^ It's really relaxing, though. Fwooosh!

Too much light pollution where I live to stargaze. But it's a nice experience when I am out in remote areas away from the city to look up and really see the sky.

I love looking at the stars. It's a nice release from the stress of the day. I like looking for constilations, but I only know like three or four.

I like looking at the stars at night, especially when the planets come real close. Sometimes they'll tell you on the news when it'll happen, and it can be easy to distinguish them at times. Sometimes I do wonder if there are people on those planets or stars who have their own lives and cultures and other things. Wouldn't it be cool if we stumbled upon something like that? Maybe there's a planet very similar to ours with people like us.

I'm very fascinated about the universe, and I love astronomy. On a nice clear starry night, I like to look up at the stars. My first thought usually is, "Wow! Those stars just go on forever!" Then, that makes me realized how small we (Earth) are compared to the vast universe. Then, I'm just humbled by vastness of the universe. Then, I do tend to wonder if there are any other intelligent beings out there. Then, I get like a good feeling inside. I just love it!

Wish I had telescope.
