Somethin weird happened at school yesterday.

Okay, so in Biology class, I'm in line tio get my notebook checked, when the girl behind me starts talkin to me. So we're talkin, and then she asks me for a hug. I really wasn't sure what to say, it caught me off guard. So I said "sure". We hugged, then she asks, "How come you never talk to me?" That too caught me off guard, and I responded "I don't really talk to anyone in classes, except who's sitting at the desk i'm at." She agrees, "Yeah cause no one can really talk since it's a class rule." Then she heard the teacher talk about the notebooks to give a reminder of something we needed in our notebook. She goes "Aw, shoot", and headed back to her desk.
So, while I'm still in line waiting for my turn for my notebook to get checked off, I'm thinking, "Why did she ask for a hug? Why does she think it's only her I never talk to? Does she like me?" I probably shouldn't assume, cause if there's one thing I've learned, you don't assume if someone likes you, cause what if you're wrong?
Well, anyway, what should I do? Blow this off, or just wait?

If you've got a huntch i'd say follow it or at least see if she's only doing it to get back at someone.

on the positive side: she's smitten with you. ask her out on a date if you like her too

on the negative side: like hyper d said, she may only be doing this for revenge on her ex or something. but i doubt it. ask her out anyway

then again, maybe she's really REALLY friendly

Get to know her, keep note of her body language and you'll soon see if she wants more, especially if she's confident enough to go up to someone who never talks to her and ask for a hug.

Take it from me, go with what you think it is. Go with your gut. If you don't you'll regret it, especially if you like her too. Because I like this guy and I've liked him for almost a year, anyways, my best friend called him, becauser I was too scared to talk to him. But it turns out that he kinda likes me too. We talked for over an hour on Saturday. So like I said go eith your gut!

I've never walked up to someone I don't really know and hug them. But I would if I wasn't thinking. Sometimes I like a guy to much, and I don't think straight. I think that happens to most of us. :sad: Personally I get too attached to a guy before I even say "hi" to him. It's one of my flaws. So instead I bring up crazy random facts to fill any silence. Still, that doesn't seem to help. People just think I'm psycho. So I went with that title, and now I am happy to call myself crazy wacky and weird. Plus a clumsy oaf, but never together.
