A bit of Advise

I'm not even sure if this topic should be allowed but for some reason today, I am not getting as many friends here to even chat with although I only have 4 friends on LJ left, I lost one of my friends probbly because of my paranoid issues I aways keep having here and that as of now I may continue to loose friends here untill I'm more likly to leave this place due I am making no sense in my complaint posts and in this case, upsetting others and down right being paranoid and acting childish wich most of you guys don't like at all, and probbly don't want to talk about, I am just one of those people that has hard times because it seems even though it has been 2 years since being here, am still not getting much out of it, and I just want things to not be all arguemented and just try resolve somthing that I am doing wrong at this place, but in the end someone has to leave because I am doing somthing that may insult others or hurt other peoples feelings wich I have some concern about and all for myself, I just wish I can try to find a way to resolve it, and I'm sorry if this topic is depressing and upsetting and stuff.

Ok. Jeffrey. I've been on several different boards where you posted over the course of 2 or so years. And all I can say, in the least offensive manner, is to just chill out and not try so hard.

Post like any normal user.

Well I'm a mod and I'm not banning you. Listen, everyone doesn't have to be your friend. It's possible for people to hate you and for it not to be your fault. Get some self-confidence! My best advice is to get off the Internet for a while. Deactivate your modem or leave your ethernet cord in a locker for a few weeks. Invite someone to do something.

Online conversations are supposed to be a small subset of real life. People here can't hug you or pat you on the back or punch your lights out. We can't show our emotions to you completely because all we can do is type, and if you invest too much in Internet relationships that lack of emotional connection is going to make you anxious and paranoid. So invite a friend to a movie, or go to a coffeeshop and start a conversation with the first person you see. Even if they don't like you it'll be a much fuller interaction than anything you can have here.

I've chatted and enjoy chatting with some members, but aren't really good friends with anyone. Honestly I'm here because I like talking about toons... not to find someone to be my friends. ... You're complaining that people complain that you're too paranoid, while being paraonoid that you will get banned for this paranoid post. Just... stop. The mods are not breathing over your back and when they don't respond to you they are not ignoring you because they hate you.

Couldn't agree more with Blue Wolf. I come here because my non-online friends don't share my interest in animation. It's more fun to talk about something with someone who likes it than keep it as a solitary hobby. I'm sure there are some members I could become friends with if I hung out with them enough but there's no pressure to do that, we just pontificate on a shared interest.

Hey Jeffrey, as we've said on the boards and over AIM and many, many times before, we're NOT trying to find any reason under the sun to ban you. As far as the mods are concerned, there's nothing to be paranoid about. Just because we may not all be your best buddies doesn't mean that we're looking to get rid of you, dude. There's no reason to be paranoid.

If you're looking to make friends, just approach someone with a similar interest and start chatting with them. That's how I've made any buddies online or in real life. Sometimes it's successful, sometimes it fails. But what counts is that you're trying.

So again, there's no reason to be paranoid. Sometimes I get like that too, but ultimately I know that there's no conspiracy of people out to get me, nor anyone else here. Just stop worrying about it and move on as best you can, man.

Just relax and stop worrying about what other people are thinking and do what you want to do. As Strawberry Jam said, paranoia becomes your own enemy. No one here is interested in causing problems for you - if you sometimes find you are unhappy with the services here - whether it be in speed of reply or rules - that's cool. That's your opinion.

However regardless of your opinion, no one here is interested in trying to change it, or getting annoyed because you think a certain way. The staff do their best to offer a good service and community here and that's as far as it goes. No one holds any grudges against you for asking questions or commenting on procedures. The sooner you accept that the better time you'll have.

Stop worrying about how you effect other people and just try and enjoy yourself more - be it here or elsewhere. Personally, I agree with Twage, get away from the PC for a bit and enjoy some real life fun and forget about this internet troubles which are clearly making you unhappy.

If you think about it we all are friends on this entire forums, unoffically of course. I don't have any offical friends here. However, when I post a thread or response someone will either comment on it, disagree with it or not respond. Still I haven't been flamed yet, so I have no reason to dislike anyone here.

Thyanks for all of your guys advise, I have calm down and well ther eis a few things I will need to learn on what you guys told me, of coruse I managed to stay calm by just watching some TV wich I might add it helpped me quite a bit with Smallvill being another possable favorite of the series, and of coruse recently Witch Hunter Robin, I just hope that this dinner of mine will make it even better since it is boneless chicken that I am having, but again, thanks for the support. :)

How can anybody hate anyone here? I mean unless they know you in real life and you stole their girlfriend/boyfriend or whatever. That would be reason enough to hate you. but, jeff. i'm going to speak to you on a medical point of view. if you are finding yourself having constant fits of worry, nervousness, or paranoia, you may want to consult your physician. i, too, constantly worried all the time and i just got tired of it. i went to my doctor and was told i have high anxiety. now i take medication. i still tend to worry, but not as bad as i did before

and i consider you to be my friend along with most everybody else here at toonzone. especially the people who post at the drawing board, which does include you, jeff

Well thanks guys for the support, but right now, I am depressed once again, and that I mave have done somthing bad on the IM's to bother the mods and right now I am forced to leave untill saterday, I'll only be here doing the Witch Hunter Robin reviews, but that is it after words I am no longer be present because I have been too paranoid I am not needed to be around at this time, plus I have made things to hard for you guys to deal with and only being more paranoid means likly of getting in big troble with the big guys at this board, but i will not go any more at this time, but it is a good thing that some of you have respect for me, but I had to do what SSJ, Tim and Twage told and just not post here often or at least not be here untill this issue calms down.
