Ignition Kill switches

Usually very useful, today not so much. Something screwy went down with my kill switch and now it won't disable... leaving my car unstartable. Does any one know how to disable it manually and/or permanently (maybe involving rewiring)? I need my car! :(

Is your car a Ford? I've heard some of the older ones have ignition problems or something like that.
