Raise your hand if you're enraged about PHOENIX and BLACK WIDOW being friggin' CHASE FIGURES?!?! GAH! That's the kind of stuff that makes me go berzerk. As far as my collection goes...I don't NEED the Red Skull figure...I just want it. But, I have no problem with the fact that I can't find it anywhere. But PHOENIX is something I need. I need it like water. And I'm not going to pay $50 for one.

As for the rest of Toyfair, my soon to be favorite line is just hitting stores, and I'm sure Mezco wont have any new information on series 2 of the Hellboy toy's. Oh well...as long as I have Hellboy, Abe, Rasputin, and Kroenen, I'll be happy. Sammael is just a little extra figure of joy, to me. :D

I'm also hoping that NECA might have production sketches of Ghostbusters series 2. They announced during the UK toyfair that they finally got all the likeness right's from the original 4 busters, to finally make our fav. fab 4 into plastic!! WOOOT! So, maybe they'll show us how they look, tomorrow? Hehe....I'm gonna love this week.

The toy industry is only a shadow of what it once was before the video game industry took over... anyone remember toy lines like the original Transformers and GI Joe, or the Super Powers Collection from the mid 1980's? Ah, those were the good old days...

:(

Raise your hand if you're enraged about PHOENIX and BLACK WIDOW being friggin' CHASE FIGURES?!?! Apparantly there's going to be some announcement on Monday concerning chases and variants that should make most collectors feel better. Jesse Falcon (big guy at TB) used the word variant(S) on purpose, probably hinting that Phoenix will be normal, a repaint - Dark Phoenix? - would be the chase. So I'm waiting a few days on that.

Oh, and expect some cool announcements from Palisades about newly acquired lines sometime this week (not sure if they're all public yet, so I'll hold my tongue until then). They all sound and look really good.

Yet a million more fricken Spider-Man figures. At least they're doing the black suit and Peter Parker, both of whom couldn't be much worse than the terrible Ben Reily toy I have.

Another Lizard, Rhino and Doc Ock? Very annoying, and Black Cat, who I actually am going to buy is in a bloody box set. I don't have Kraven and will pass on him and get him in this. Hopefully the Doc Ock will be the new one from ML and not the midget I currently own. It will be cool to own Electro too.

Still, a Scorpian figure will be cool.

Invisable Woman in a box set? God damn.

If that Modern armour Iron Man is the same suit as the cartoon, it shall be mine. What's a silver centurian BTW?

Not overly impressed, not one figure out of the bunch of those screams "buy me" other than Scorpian.

*Throws sledgehammers*

Is that enraged enough for you? I hope they do one or just plain Jean in the X-Men Classics line

Apocalypse & Hawkeye=SWEET!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well if that's true then cool

I think I can help with this one.

I think the "Silver Centurion" armor refers to the suit Tony worse from #200-226 (I think) It was a big deal when he changed over because with the exception of the grey (later gold) suit, Iron Man's colours had been red and gold.

It lasted about 25 issues, then they switched over to an uglier suit and with a few exceptions, it's not been very well-designed since.

Here's some info: http://members.socket.net/~rass/redsilverarmor.html

Hope this helps!

Thanks. Not the prettiest armour I've ever seen, I'll probably pass on this, unless it looks great. We are getting a lot of Iron Mans though...

Thank God!

I've been in love with Jean ever since I was a little kid, and now I FINALLY have a decent figure coming down the pipeline... and I don't have to pay out the nose for it!

^.^

Truth be told, I NEVER expected a H.E.R.B.I.E figure. O.o;

Please don't tell me that awesome Venom figure is only gonna be available in that Multi-pack!? I've been waiting for a the "perfect" Venom for a while and I don't want to buy a whole bunch of figures I don't want just to get him (well, Goblin looks cool.....)

Is it jsut me, or do aot of the more bulked up Legends figs look like their torsos are too small? Look at Apocalypse to see what I mean, hes got this scrunched torsos and a monster-sized head.

I guess the only way to get Rogue is to buy the box with the bunch of figures I already have/don't want  or pay thru the teeth on Ebay

Anyone know if Mattel showed some new Justice League figures? I'm dying to know...and see...

...and when does Toy Fair end?

That Spidey box set looks bad ass. An all new Venom, Green Goblin, Electro and Black cat. Only Doc Ock, Kraven and Spidey are repaints/reuses and they are good ones at that.

Nuts to buying Kraven now. I can't wait.

Even Hulk has a second wave, I doubt I'll get any but its nice to see it survived. I fail to see how X-Men has been cancelled, when all the ML figures are practically X-Men anyway...

...and when does Toy Fair end?The link I posted also has some Mattel stuff, The Batman and JL. Highlights include: a Bruce Wayne, Ultra Humanite, and another Hawkgirl figure.

Here's a direct link: http://www.411mania.com/figures/article.php?figures_id=1004

And here's a link to some DC Minimates pics: http://69.93.119.2/photosSHTC/showgallery.php?cat=506&password=
I never got into the Marvel ones, but I'm going to be getting almost all of DC's offerings.

I fail to see how X-Men has been cancelled, when all the ML figures are practically X-Men anyway...The X2 movie line failed...miserably. X-Men is not a name retailers want to hear just now, at least not in its own line. But they do want Marvel Legends. If you noticed, some of the rumored figures for XMC series 2 (Weapon X, Iceman) have been integrated into ML. So it does make some sense. I'll be buying most of these, and it saves me a little money to boot (only two lines - SMC and ML - instead of 3).

New Lizard=bad. Where did they get that design from?
Scorpion is good.
Ultimate Rhino is also good.
Ultimate Peter Parker looks decent enough.
Black Costume Spidey! Finally!
And I'm digging all the Spidey & Friends figures. It's a great line.

And so much more is out there. Anything that hasn't been linked to that we need to find a link for?
