Tried but I don't know. Unless I become a comic book writer I enjoy writing about my own characters. My friend wrote dirty Harry Potter stories there though.I'm working on an OMG! story, a Big-O story (how it should have ended and how Alan Gabriel should have been used) and Suikoden/FF Tactics/Ogre Battle crossover.
Maybe one day I'll finish out my treatment of the Cowboy Bebop sequel starring Ed at 23.

Not any I wanna mention. Must remember to take them down and rework them. Heavily.
Most of my decent writing came off the Random Universes game I been in for almost four years now. So....ignore my fanfiction.net stuff and read that.

Quite a few. I would link them, but most of them are rated R.
I don't know if anyone else has hung around the site as long as I have (I got addicted in early 2001), but has anyone else noticed the quility of service there slowly degrading? I can understand taking out fiction sections where the canon author's have requested it, but they've also dumped the sports, music, crossovers, and Originals sections, as well as getting rid of the forums (a very useful tool for connecting with other authors).
So, is this just me? Or do other people who used to be part of the FF.net community feel slighted?

I can understand most of the moves they made in the past couple of years. I was there since late 1999. They dumped the Sports and Music Groups section, because really, how can you write a fanfic about something that has abosolutely nothing to do with storytelling whatsoever? (If there is storytelling, it's best to be kept in that genre.) Personally, though I'm certain there are very good fanfics, they're about real people, and I find that rather disturbing. The original section was never dumped, it was moved to www.fictionpress.com (http://www.fictionpress.com/) where all the the original stories remain intact. I still have a few of my poems up there.
I'm not certain about the forums, but I'd imagine that they would hog a lot of bandwidth, and from my experience, half the time they served only to either 1) ask for reviews, or 2) incite flame wars of some kind. Again, they were useful to many people, but I can understand why they decided to take them down.
I can also understand why they took down NC-17 stories. A majority of people who go to ff.net are children under the age of 17, and even though they kept the NC-17 stories seperate of the pack, there was nothing to stop people from going there, except for "This is intended for an adult audience over the age of 17." That was it. I can also understand why so many became angry that they made that choice, but seeing as how I never wrote an NC-17 fic, I wouldn't know. There is a site that featured adult-oriented fanfics, but I sincerely doubt I'd get away with putting it up here.
I've heard many who thought the quality of service was dropping, but you have to remember that the place has a lot more people and attention than it did back in the yonder days of 2000-2001, and for every good writer than joins ff.net, five more mediocore/bad writers join. I've seen other sites like ff.net (such as www.fanfics.org (http://www.fanfics.org/) and www.fictionized.net (http://www.fictionized.net/)) but I still prefer fanfiction.net to any of them. By the way, my ff.net profile is here (http://www.fanfiction.net/~silverknight), but many of my older stories are unabated crap that I seriously need to rewrite.
I've got a couple on there, two shorts and 2 ongoing that I haven't updated for ages, I want to update them but I never seem to find the time *guilt guilt guilt*
What I like about ff.net is, in line with what SK's saying, you can wade through a lot of stuff going 'uh huh', 'mmm, okay', or 'that wasn't bad' and then suddenly you'll come across something that just blows your socks off. There are some real silver linings amongst the masses there.

There are several of mine - a couple of Batman ones and a couple of Battle Of The Planets fan fics. I think it's under SJJ if you do a search.. if not try Casarbi..

If you're at all an OMG! fan or a Hellblazer fan, you should read the crossover called Dire Fates. Generally I hate crossovers but this is one of those stories that utterly utterly blew my mind. It's in the hopes of finding another story like that, that I continue to browse FF.net.

Before they developed fictionpress.com, I did have my original stories up. But moved them.
