Work in Progress - CRITIQUES PLEASE!

I'm sure most of you have noticed my Billie avatar by now. ;-)

But this has nothing to do with that pic! Well, almost nothing. Actually it has enough in common for it to be worth mentioning! Yes, I'm working on a new Billie pic. More precisely, I needed to draw something to calm myself down, and figured I'd give another shot at drawing the perfect pic of Billie. Ten minutes later I had this:

Yes, it's just a face, and she has no eyes... (can't make up my mind what looks most natural just yet). Aside from the eyes, is there anything majorly wrong here? I'm trying to go for a TMS-ish style on this, and I want this as perfect as I can get it. =x

Any suggestions for a pose, should I decide to sketch in the body at some point? I'm thinking she might be leaning over a counter, or something similar to that on a mouse's scale.

Well, I finished off the eyes, and added as much of the body as will be visible (shoulders and arms) from where she'll be in the final image. I might have done more, but there seriously wasn't enough room on the page... I'll have it posted tomorrow!

I just made one last change (as can be seen above). Shortly after I posted the previous shaded version, I realized that I forgot the eyelashes, but now they're in! Just a little touch, but it finishes off the pic quite nicely, I think. =)

Okokok, so I wasn't quite done yet. =x

I added a subtle "glow" to the image, and I think it softens the image quite nicely. My question to ya'll is, do *you* think it's too strong, should I even get rid of it all together? If not, do you think it adds anything? How is the drawing best presented?

Everyone else said it, but I'll say it too. That is dead-on. If you told me that was from a cel, I would believe you. Excellent work and very nice use of lighting and shading.

Gee...everyone took all the reasons why it's good (coloring, shading, etc.). I'll just be simple and say THAT'S A GOOD DRAWING! Keep up the good work, and can't wait to see when you make your next pic!:)
