I haven't seen that film in a long time. Thanks for the reminder.

Well this movie is one of my favorites, since I like the animation and the neat Background and prop changes of the movie, to a desert then a forest version, also the the river rafting races pretty interesting too.
Hope to see this movie next weekend.

One of my favorite Peanuts specials, but I can't remember the ending. How does Charlie manage to lose this time?

Just when the Peanuts gang (sans Snoopy and Woodstock, who are in their own boat) are about to reach the finish line, the girls get too excited and end up knocking the boys overboard. When the girls attempt to get the boys back on the boat, it ends up tipping over.

Heh, I like this one. It's probably my first or second fave, the other being "Bon Voyage Charlie Brown! (and don't come back)".

My favorite movie is A BOY NAMED CHARLIE BROWN. If anything, I liked its hopeful message that someday Charlie Brown will be on top.
I didn't really like RACE FOR YOUR LIFE. Like that special IT'S YOUR FIRST KISS, CHARLIE BROWN, the film takes sadistic glee in unfairly torturing poor Chuck, as well as the fact that I don't really like Peppermint Patty that much...

My personal favorite is SNOOPY COME HOME! just cause it's so sweet and simple, and a nice starring role for Snoopy and Woodstock. It's also really sad.
Now, the big question is: when are the four Peanuts movies being released on DVD? I saw all of them on VHS this past weekend and it got me to wondering.
