Sure, if you think that will work...

it will only cost 50 million moltons!

Just joshin' ya, I would buy it. How much would it cost to make some bootlegs? I saw on TechTV, they make iron-on patches that print from your computer. Or something like that.

there's a website called cafepress.com...i've made some t-shirts there for a friend's bachelor party. basically you open an account, submit images in the form of .gif or .jpg files, then they put them on pretty much anything from t-shirts to thongs to coffee mugs. then you just purchase from your own store. i can imagine that image on the front and then "Starboy & The Captain of Outer Space Coming Summer 2004" on the back.

It would make a better poster. And I'd buy one for every room in my house.

definitely a good poster...someone should get this going. technically i'd be illegal for anyone outside of Soup2Nuts or Tom Snyder productions to do it, so that sort of sucks. the thing about cafepress is that there's no monetary commitment. you don't have to worry about selling 200,000 units in order to cover your costs. sorry if i sound like some whore shilling for cafepress.com, but having a t-shirt with that poster on it would kick ass

the thing about cafepress is that there's no monetary commitment. you don't have to worry about selling 200,000 units in order to cover your costs. The problem with cafepress is that they'd be making a profit off the image, and since they don't own the rights, it would be copyright infringement. If, however, you had them printed up somewhere where they didn't sell any, and you didn't sell any, it wouldn't be copyright infringement because no one is profiting off it.

Hmm. Nice picture, I would definitely buy it if it was on a poster or a shirt.. That would be a good idea.

i know...what i was saying was that from the perspective of Soup2nuts or Tom Snyder productions or whoever owns the rights to those images, they don't have to worry about putting up all this money up. chances are these t-shirts aren't going to sell wildly b/c Home Movies isn't a very widely known show...it'd be more something to do for the fans, and whoever owns the image can mark up the items $3-5 and make some profit off of it, but not have to worry about printing up thousands of t-shirts and not selling enough to make their money back

It would make a better poster. And I'd buy one for every room in my house. And on top of my car. And on the door to my apartment building(landlord would love that).
And I'd put two of them on big pieces of posterboard, tape them together, and wear it like a suit as I walked around on campus.

Also apparently you would need to pay Royalties to George Washington...that bastard always wants more, I mean being on two pieces of U.S. currency just isn't enough for him, IS IT?!!!

Yeah I'd want a poster of that, maybve they could convince soup-2-nuts to being making them and they could eb sold at the AS store...

Wow, that is very nice. And don't let my absence of wit fool you, I really like it.

Copyrights be damned, indeed!

For king and country.

Cafepress wouldn't do it, they aren't into copyright infringement at all. They once removed a friend's store because his logo was a parody of another logo.

But, as the law stands, you can print up all the posters or t-shirts you want. You just aren't allowed to sell them.

Anyway, great pic!
