I've just started to watch Aqua Teen Hunger Force on the Canadian Teletoon channel. I was undecided on it at first, but when I watched the "Mooninites" episode a few days back - I was sold. Now, with this comes the typical few questions. Please take some pity:
1) Will new episodes of the show be put in production, or are we only getting what's listed on the website? And how many are there in total?
2) Is the "Volume 1" DVD worth getting? I've seen only three or four episodes, and I'm tempted to take th eplunge and get "Volume One." How is it - overall - as a DVD release?
3) Will we see future DVD volumes? Personally, I don't want to buy "Volume 1", then find out that all the episodes won't be released.
Thanks for your help. I'm becoming a big fan of this series and I hope to talk about these episodes in the future. Besides, TZ has the best Adult Swim site and board here. It puts all the others to shame. Thanks!

1) yes.
2) yes.
3) yes.
Note: searching this forum would've given you all these very complex answers I've just listed.
The Mooninities are great, they've shown up around 5 times in the series, with about 3 full episodes starring them, and a few other episodes having cameos.

There have been 42 episodes I believe.

From what I've heard the content is great, though I heard some complain about the video quality of the episodes.

From recent hub-bub from MC Chris, part of the Williams Street crew, they're working on volume 2 right now.

From what I've heard the content is great, though I heard some complain about the video quality of the episodes.Oh man. IMO, the video quality kicks ass. I have it and watched it. It looks just as friggin' good as it does on TV.
I think the complaints I read were about some weird cross tearing or something. It was probably from a nerdy videophile complaining about some compression thing normal people wouldn't notice.
Been meaning to, just waiting to get some money to grab it.

The dvds are great, and for sure are the way to go. Cheap too, for what you're getting (only $18 last week at BestBuy, so keep an eye out for similar deals, or go to deepdiscountdvd for $23.39 w/free s&h, the cheapest I've seen it besides the sale).
The onlyl problem is there's still 2 eps of season 2 left off and all of season 3, but hopefully the new dvd will be out soon and all will be good.
Now if we can just get started on those Sealabs...

Thanks for all of the help, guys. I think I might give that Aqua Teen Hunger Force DVD a spin, especially if there are more in the works. I hate buying a "Vol. 1" DVD not knowing if there will be a "Vol. 2."
